Can you tell me how much is a guitar? What's your idea about violin?

Sorry for late reply,
It costs almost 1,500,000 Rials to buy a good one. When I say good it is according to what my teacher says. About a violin it depends, the price is varied from 600,000 Rials to 6,000,000 Rials.

I thought they should cost more, like an arm and a leg! That's good to hear and also to buy.

It's been for some times since I cut my guitar classes, instead I follow a self-taught system and study all by myself using some CDs I have. I come to this conclusion that one somehow cam manage it all at home without taking the burdon of going to guitar classes where the instructor assign something for the whole week and you have to practice the whole week and if he is satisfied you move on to the next lesson otherwise you have to repeat that again and that would cost you 80000 rls.
I as a teacher realized that most of the istructors are only good players but not good teachers.
Do you agree that we can learn it ( guitar) all at home?

Theoretically, yes I agree, but practically I doubt.

I decided to study on my own, you might ask why? Well to tell you the truth as a teacher I am, I've found out that most of the so called guitar teachers are not really teachers but merely good guitar players and actually they don't have the ability to transfer their knowledge. For me understanding this is not difficult and you know why...

So I stay at home and practicing the tune myself.

Is it possible to study an instrument all on your own?

I am doing this for a month or so and I believe it is possible.
